Rosie Huntington

RosieQueen Latifah was born to Dana Elaine Owens in Newark, New Jersey, on March 18, 1970. The second daughter of Lance and Rita Owens, Latifah is most famous for her involvement in public speaking skills, social politics and ability to rhyme. At the age of 8 old, a Muslim relative named her Latifah which means "delicate and sensitive" in Arabic. Latifah began singing with the Shiloh Baptist Church's choir in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her first performance was when she sang "Home" as the character of Dorothy in the production of The Wizard of Oz at St. Anne's Parochial School. Latifah was motivated by her mother who was in constant contact with the students and music. Mark James, the local disc jockey, was contacted by Latifah's daughter to perform during the dance. Mark the 45 King to perform at a school dance.
