Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding swiftly brought her to the top charts once she was noticed by the public in 2010. Her ability to achieve this feat with her singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop.
