Lis Wiehl, an American lawyer and writer who was formerly the Fox News analyst.
Her previous position was as assistant professor of Law in the University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She appeared weekly on The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight the Imus morning show, and hosts her own show, the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl is a native of Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She holds a diploma in law from Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985) in addition to she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl was a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She was a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor with an appointment on the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl was an analyst in the field of law for Fox News.
