Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. She has released over 20 albums. The music of DiFranco has been described as folk-rock and alternative rock although it includes influences from punk funk hip music and jazz. Ani Difranco is believed to be a feminist legend and a Grammy award-winning. Being one of the early female musicians in the 90s, she founded her own label. The parents of DiFranco, Elizabeth (Ross), a previous student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Dante Americo DiFranco met each one another while students at the same school. Her mother is from Montreal as is her father, who is Italian heritage. Ani DiFranco composed and sang 32 Flavors. The track is available on the sixth album Not a Pretty Girl by Ani DiFranco that was released in 1996. On the soundtrack of 1999's Canadian romantic film Better Than Chocolate is a variation of this song. DiFranco apologized in 2013 when it was announced that she would be hosting a three day workshop at the Louisiana slave plantation. Although she cancelled the workshop however, a lot of participants (including the authors of our article) were not able to feel remorse. DiFranco released a second apology a couple of days after the first.
