Annie Murphy (n e Anne Frances Murphy) was born on December 19, 1986. She's Canadian, but is based in Hollywood. She was the lead character Alexis Rose for the CBC comedy TV series Schitt's Trail it premiered in the year 2015 and ran until the year 2020. Her character got praise from critics and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. She was born Ottawa Ontario Canada. Both her parents were teachers. Elmwood School was her first selection in Ottawa which was where she performed in various stage performances. She then went to Concordia University where she earned a theatre degree.
